The International Conference on Malay Language, Literature and Culture (RENTAS 2021) is organised by the School of Languages, Civilisation and Philosophy, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) and Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP). The two-day event will be held online from June 2-3 2021.

RENTAS 2021 underlines the theme of

Language, Literature and Culture in Embracing National Development Challenges.

The main theme encompasses the following five sub-themes:

Science and Technology in Language, Literature and Culture

Language, Literature and Culture from Communication and Media Outlook

The Management and Exhibition of Language, Literary and Cultural Products

Religion, Philosophy and Civilisation in Language, Literature and Culture

Apart from the presentation of discourse, ideas and research by both local and international participants,

RENTAS 2021 also features two language education plenary speakers to headline the event.
